What's New
Starting today, the Scratchers Edge dashboard includes full coverage of BCLC scratch lottery tickets sold across British Columbia. You can now browse, search, and track remaining prizes for every active BCLC game using the same tools available for WCLC tickets.
Every time BCLC publishes new prize data, we capture it and update the site with fresh information on remaining top prizes, prize depletion rates, and trends. Just like with WCLC, you can build a watchlist of your favorite games and see how prize availability changes over time.
ℹ️ What is BCLC? The BC Lottery Corporation runs scratch lottery games sold across British Columbia. Like WCLC tickets, BCLC games publish remaining prize counts online — but until now, there was no central place to track them all or see trends over time.
How to Start Using It
- Switch to BCLC using the region toggle — at the top left of the header, click the BCLC button to switch from WCLC to BCLC data. The entire dashboard updates to show only BC games.
- Browse all active BCLC games — the Dashboard tab shows all BCLC scratch tickets sorted by prize status, with a Best Bets section highlighting games where top prizes are still unclaimed.
- Search by game name or price — use the Browse tab to filter by ticket price, sort by top prize remaining, or search for a specific BCLC game.
- Check prize trends — click any BCLC game to see its full prize breakdown and a chart showing how fast (or slow) prizes have been claimed over time.
- Add to your watchlist — use My Tickets to track your favorite BCLC games. Switch back to WCLC anytime using the toggle.
ℹ️ Easy switching: The region toggle button is right at the top of the header. Click WCLC to see Western Canada games, or BCLC to see BC games. The entire dashboard switches instantly — your watchlist, Browse settings, and Trends data all update to show the lottery you've selected.
Why This Matters for BC Players
BCLC publishes remaining prize counts online — the raw data is out there. But like WCLC, it's scattered across a website that doesn't track history, doesn't show trends, and doesn't make it easy to compare games side by side.
With Scratchers Edge, BC scratch players can now do what Western Canada players have been doing: see which BCLC games still have unclaimed top prizes, spot games where prizes are disappearing fast, and check the depletion rate before deciding whether to buy. A snapshot of prize counts tells you what's left today. Trend data tells you whether you're betting on a game that's drying up fast or one where top prizes are still available.
What's the Same, What's Different
The core features are the same for both lotteries: Browse tab, Trends analysis, Smart Picks recommendations, and watchlists. The main differences are geographical — BCLC games are only available to buyers in BC, while WCLC games are available across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the northern territories. Some BCLC games may have different pricing or prize structures than similar WCLC games, but the way we track them is identical.
One thing hasn't changed: we still show you only the prize tiers that the lottery publishes (usually $100 and above for BCLC, same as WCLC). We update whenever the lottery publishes new data, which typically happens daily.
The Same Commitment to Transparency
We're committed to the same principles with BCLC data as we've been with WCLC: we track the data that's already public, present it clearly, update it regularly, and don't make a profit from it. BCLC players now have a tool to make smarter decisions before they spend money on scratch lottery tickets. That's what Scratchers Edge is for.
